What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Starting from version 8.5.220.04, WFM server no longer allows schedule data retrieval using API requests when an empty agent filter is specified. To improve system performance, empty agent filters will now return an empty response. For best results, include your Business Unit ID at minimum, or include the Site ID or other filters.

All Schedule-related APIs (WFMScheduleSevice) that take an agent filter (CfgAgentFilter) as a parameter are potentially impacted. This includes GetAgentState, GetAgentDay, GetAgentTotals, OpenAgentDaySnapshot, OpenAgentDaySnapshotAsync, GetScheduleAgent, OpenScheduleAgentSnapshot. Other services (such as WFMCalendarService, and WFMAdherenceService) are not impacted. (WFM-37299, WFM-37397)

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

Time-off limits wizard was fixed to perform time zone conversion when limits are set for MSA with different from site time zone. (WFM-36941)

If the “First Come First Serve” time-off bidding method is used, the agent's order or priority will now be based on the timestamp of the last time-off submission within the bidding period rather than the timestamp of the agent’s “Ready” state. (WFM-36596)

Agents now will be able to add overtime to the beginning of their shift schedules containing part-day time-offs. (WFM-36269)

All expected breaks are now scheduled after overtime insertion before the shift start if possible. (WFM-36188)

The performance of the agents' schedule trade eligibility checking operation was improved. (WFM-36901)

WFM Server no longer returns HTTP code 429 (Too many requests) when a synchronous request is not complete within the timeout of 5 minutes. (WFM-36840)

The WFM Server is no longer leaking memory when loading time-off limits for the Site. (WFM-37003)
