Universal Contact Server 9.1 Product Alerts

Some UCS 9.1.000.xx versions were made public in error for a short time in 2018. These versions were not intended to be distributed publicly, and unfortunately, it is not possible to migrate existing data from UCS 9.1.000 to UCS 9.1.001 or higher.

For serviceability reasons, Genesys strongly recommends that you check the version you have in production and in your labs.

If you are operating UCS 9.1.001.02 or higher, you can safely ignore this advisory.

If you are operating UCS 9.1.000.xx, please follow these steps as soon as possible:

  1. Remove all UCS 9.1.000.xx instances and replace them with 9.1.001.02 or higher.
  2. Drop the existing UCS Cassandra keyspace and ensure the corresponding Elasticsearch indexes are deleted as well.
  3. Replace the wcc-es-index-9.1.000.xx-jar-with-dependencies.jar plugins in Cassandra lib folders with the one provided with the 9.1.001.02 or higher version.
  4. Restart each Cassandra node.
  5. Recreate the UCS schema.

If you need assistance, please contact Genesys Customer Care via your usual Care channel.

Genesys apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused.
