What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Workspace Desktop Edition (WDE) now supports Windows Server 2022. For more detailed information about the other supported operating environments, see the Workspace Desktop Edition page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide. (IW-18021)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Hotkeys configured with an empty value no longer generate an error in Workspace logs. (IW-18096)
WDE no longer becomes unresponsive when it receives a chat message containing a file referenced with the special character LRM in its path. (IW-18088)
The communication between WDE and Configuration Server (or Configuration Server Proxy) has been improved to optimize the processing and transport of large amounts of configuration objects. (IW-18086)
Upgrade Notes
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.161.03.
