Agent Text Portal Help

Agent Text Portal is the text agent’s interface to the Genesys platform. The Agent Text Portal requires that the agent has nothing more than a computer and an internet connection to receive, and respond to, text messages from your customers.

Individual agents sign in to the web-interface, indicating their availability, and accept and respond to text messages. When they log out at the end of the day, the messages still in their queue are returned to the pool of messages and assigned to an agent who is currently logged in for action.

As with the Agent Voice Portal, managers can register agents and view the status of individual agents, including real-time information on the current contact and view the details of the conversation to date.
