Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues.

Workspace now properly instructs Genesys Softphone to set up SIP communication over TLS when the option 'sipendpoint.transport-protocol' is set to 'TLS'. Previously, when Workspace was configured to display strings in a language that requires multi-byte characters, such as Spanish, the transfer of options to Genesys Softphone could fail, and the transport protocol was set to the default UDP. (IW-18301)

The wrapping DLL to the WebView2 implementation of the Windows OS has been updated to a fresh version. This version update avoids breaking changes that could have affected older customization projects based on it. If you own a customization based on WebView2, it is recommended, but not mandatory, to rebuild it and test it with this new version of Workspace. (IW-18251)

It is now possible to schedule a Callback from a customer interaction with Case Information values containing some multi-line text. (IW-18340)

During an Outbound Preview campaign, after a preview outbound call was dialed and then released before it could be established with a customer, it is now possible to create an outbound digital interaction (SMS, Email) to the Contact associated with the Outbound Preview record. (IW-18328)

In environments where Workspace interoperates with Workspace SIP Endpoint to handle SIP calls, stuck calls are now properly cleared when the agent presses the Done button in situations where a temporary network issue prevented Workspace SIP Endpoint from receiving the end call notifications from the back-end system. Previously, such temporary network issues could generate stuck calls in the Workspace SIP Endpoint, resulting in the Workspace SIP Endpoint not exiting as expected when the agent logged out from Workspace. (IW-18323)

Workspace now properly notifies the agent with an error message when a connection issue with the Configuration Server occurs during login. Previously, certain connectivity issues with the Configuration Server could result in a silent login failure. (IW-18309)

Workspace now correctly instructs Genesys Universal Contact Server (UCS) to release its database cursors when loading extensive chat transcripts. Previously, when the chat transcript of a contact contained more than 2,000 messages in a day, the database cursor was not released, which could result in a long delay in request processing by UCS eventually. (IW-18299)
