What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Enhanced Segment Data and Metadata: The Attributes page now contains data for interaction segments.
- Localization for Arabic: User Interface localization was added for Arabic.
- QM Evaluation Score Visualization: When a QM evaluation is completed and saved, the evaluation score appears.
- Screen Column Customization: Now you can change the column order in the Interactions, Events and QM grids per user.
- Significant SQL server performance improvements have been made, most notably in an SQL Cluster environment. (PRSM-14214) Note: The significant SQL server performance improvements are only relevant for hot fixes 8.5.003.01, 8.5.300.07, 8.5.401.24 and 8.5.501.05.

When working with Internet Explorer 10 and 11, the media player's Full Screen mode is now functional. (PRSM-13695)
In the Topic Audit Report (phrase level) all the percentage bars now reflect their specific percentage-size. Previously, all the percentage bars were the same length. In addition, all of the columns from the Calls column to the right are now aligned properly. (PRSM-12339)
The Evaluations Session summary screen now displays 0. Previously, it displayed "No Score". (PRSM-14202)
SpeechMiner no longer requires Execute rights to be granted to the default application object. Execution rights can now be configured using an application object that is not the default application object. (PRSM-14212)
Previously, when working in Explorer and FireFox a subscriber address could not be selected when creating or changing an alert and had to be entered manually. Now the address can be selected. (PRSM-11739)
Audio calls can now be converted from stereo to mono. Previously, if a call was in stereo, you were required to supply the left and right speaker types in the metadata XML file. (PRSM-9823)
When working with IE 10 and IE 11, the To field associated with a Report email is now populated when you click the address (that is, the recipients name) from the list of addresses that appears. Previously, it was not populated.(PRSM-11943)
The Search Grid column automatically adjusts to fit the window when columns are added to the grid. Previously, the Search Grid column did not adjust to fit the window in this scenario. (PRSM-10970)
When working with Internet Explorer there are no tool tips for the Quality Management parameters in the Forms Manager and Evaluation Manager pages. The tool tips are available when working with Chrome. (PRSM-13695)
The Event tool tip in the Media Player is now available for multiple events at the same time. (PRSM-13133)
When working with SpeechMiner in a language other than English, the Search field in a filter no longer covers the View Selected Only check box. (PRSM-14385)
Exporting a report with a European date format now returns expected results. (PRSM-14098)
Audio interactions originating from GIR are now categorized correctly. (PRSM-14479)
SpeechMiner functions properly when processing a large number of items in the filter hierarchy. (PRSM-14134)
It is now possible to change the column order in the Interactions, Events and QM grids per user. Previously, it was not possible to change the column order. (PRSM-12898)
The following tag was removed and no longer causes Internet Explorer 10, 11 and higher to work in compatibility mode of Internet Explorer 9: meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9" (PRSM-14286)
When you play a new interaction recorded in mono audio in Internet Explorer, the duration shown is now the same as the actual duration of the interaction. (PRSM-12744)
The Player synchronization problems in Internet Explorer are now solved. (PRSM-11927)
Subfolder bookmarks and report descriptions are now included in the PDF on the CD. (PRSM-14321)
Users can now log into SpeechMiner using passwords with special character combinations (for example, "<",">","[","]"). (PRSM-14483)
The username and logout menu are now displayed in the top right corner of the SpeechMiner UI. (PRSM-14290)
The Batch Actions menu now appears when playing an interaction with a video. (PRSM-13954)
During the installation an Error opening file for writing message no longer appears. This error occurred because the installation could not override Nuance files. (PRSM-14070)
When upgrading a SpeechMiner Analytics-only deployment ()without the Genesys Configuration Data) from 8.5.500.04 (build 67) to 8.5.501.05 (build 97), you must add the "Delete Evaluation Session I created." permission to the QM Manager role. (PRSM-14773)
When working with Chrome, Trend reports are now always displayed for a wide and mini version. (PRSM-13934)
When working with SpeechMiner in a language other than English, the Search field in a filter now covers the View Selected Only check box. (PRSM-14385)
