What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Intelligent Automation now supports Google Dialogflow's follow-up intents and output contexts. (SPCHSTRM-2836)
  • Intelligent Automation now supports Microsoft Bot Framework using Direct Line v3 API. (SPCHSTRM-2784)
  • The version number now displays on the login page. (SPCHSTRM-2881)
  • Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) pauses can now be added in increments of 50 milliseconds. (SPCHSTRM-2823)
  • When the Debug logging is enabled, requests and responses between Genesys Dialog Engine and Google Dialogflow are now logged. (SPCHSTRM-2822)
  • Concatenated prompt recording (CPR) packs for dynamic prompt playback, if configured, are now used even if the environment setting, VoiceXML.SSML.AlwaysUseSSML is set to true. (SPCHSTRM-2812)
  • The Date Picker in Web IVR now supports DMY (default), MDY and YMD date formats. (SPCHSTRM-2844)

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

Multimodal feature now provides appropriate warnings when a WebIVR session is expired. (SPCHSTRM-2874)

HTTP Patch requests now work correctly in Integration Hub (SPCHSTRM-2860)

Personas will now save without errors when TTS voices have not been configured for a TTS language. (SPCHSTRM-2850)

When using Google SR, data now correctly attaches to the call when exiting to a routing strategy. (SPCHSTRM-2832)

SNMP heartbeat traps are now sent from the Messaging, Integration, and Load Balancer servers. (SPCHSTRM-2817)

The correct exception message is now displayed when exceeding the maximum number of nested modules of a given product type. (SPCHSTRM-2815)

"Confidential variables to send" VUI preferences now works as documented. Previously, spaces were required between the variable names (for example, CardNumber, AccountNumber, and so on). (SPCHSTRM-2811)

The Channel no longer resets to Voice during a session using the Voice with transcription channel. (SPCHSTRM-2810)

Web IVR question block will now display a retry prompt if the user attempts to submit a blank entry. (SPCHSTRM-2794)

Product templates are now updated to support additional character sets. (SPCHSTRM-2769)

Intelligent Automation no longer generates an error when the session is being ended in the GUI. (SPCHSTRM-2764)

IA internationalised in French now allows you to select all report tabs. (SPCHSTRM-2043)

The non-Internationalised tree view no longer provides a link to virtual call. (SPCHSTRM-1028)
