What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

• Intelligent Automation supports the Digital Messaging Server events for image attachments for WhatsApp messages for both NOTICE and MESSAGE events. Earlier, images were sent to GIA using the MESSAGE method. DMS now sends the information using the NOTICE event (modified in DMS 9.0.008.08). (SPCHSTRM-3931)
• A new configuration, ReportsDatabase.Backlog.JDBC.Timeout is now available in the database.properties file. This value will override the value configured in the ReportsDatabase.JDBC.Timeout option. The backlog process will wait for the ReportsDatabase.Backlog.JDBC.Timeout value before verifying if the data is written to the database. If the timeout expires, the unwritten data is re-added to the backlog process. (SPCHSTRM-3926)

This release contains the following resolved issues:

Due to the security vulnerabilities, (CVE-2022-45143, CVE-2022-42252, CVE-2023-28708), the Apache Tomcat server is upgraded to 9.0.72. (SPCHSTRM-3958 SPCHSTRM-3987)

Due to the security vulnerability (BDSA-2022-3447), the SnakeYAML library have been removed as GIA no longer uses the library. (SPCHSTRM-3951)

Genesys-produced artifacts (WAR and JAR files) will be signed. (SPCHSTRM-3935)

Due to the security vulnerability, the jquery library is upgraded from 1.10.2 to 3.6.3. (SPCHSTRM-3930)

The database.properties file has been updated to include supported DB versions only. (SPCHSTRM-3910)

Due to the security vulnerability (CVE-2022-4288), Apache Commons Text is upgraded to Version 1.10.0. (SPCHSTRM-3901, SPCHSTRM-3895)

Config Server users with the Application Maintainer permissions/role were unable to view the Personas tab. Intelligent Automation will use the new IA_SPD_roles.xml file for permissions. (SPCHSTRM-3841)

The number of currently active sessions is now displayed correctly in the GUI servers page. When a WebIVR window is opened, the count is incremented and when closed, the count is decremented. (SPCHSTRM-3307)
