This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- The plugin now supports a maximum of 280 characters per tweet in compliance with the latest Twitter character encoding.
- The plugin now excludes @mention from the 280-character count in the agent's outbound tweets.
- A tooltip label is now added to the Direct Message button in WDE to enable visually impaired agents using screen readers to recognize the button correctly.
This release contains the following resolved issues:
The twitterdirect.max-chars and twitter.direct-message-max-chars attributes are identified as redundant and they are excluded from the template (.tpl) file. (SMD-4626)
Agents can now copy and paste text in Facebook private message interactions. (SMD-4614)
Facebook buttons are displayed correctly when an agent is using the floating mode and the default theme in WDE. Previously, the buttons were not displayed properly in this scenario. (SMD-4667)
The Transfer button is displayed during Facebook session interactions and unsolicited private message interactions based on the role privilege settings in WDE. Previously, the Transfer button was always displayed regardless of the role privilege settings. (SMD-4697, SMD-4759)
The plugin now displays URLs as links correctly even if the URLs do not contain the http or https syntax. (SMD-4646)
The default theme for WDE is loaded properly when the ClickOnce Deployment procedure is followed. Previously, the default theme did not load properly and displayed an error in this scenario. (SMD-4643)
An agent can now open a Facebook session interaction that the agent sent from their interaction queue to their workbin. (SMD-4495, SMD-4406)
Agents can now view all theme options from the Change Theme menu. (SMD-4820)
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 9.0.002.02.
