What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Starting with release 9.0.003.06, Interaction Server supports PostgreSQL 12. See the eServices page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems, browsers, web server applications, and databases. - Interaction Server no longer supports Oracle 18c. See the eServices page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems, browsers, web server applications, and databases. (IXN-6365)
- Interaction Server 9.0.003.06 does not support Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2. - A new Interaction Server health metric ixn_health_info_client_protocol_request_total is introduced. It provides the total number of protocol requests received by Interaction Server by client type by request name since Interaction Server was started. The existing Interaction Server option settings/collect-request-counters should be set to true to enable this metric.
- ImportantRequests received from URS are not counted.

- Timestamps in health information are no longer provided in Prometheus format. (IXN-6375)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Interaction Server no longer hangs on startup when reading data from a Configuration Server which has 100% CPU usage. Previously, in rare cases, Interaction Server might hang when a user was configured with a key with a very long name. (IXN-6329)
Recently added Interaction Server health counters, which count interactions sent for routing and handled by agents, are now updated correctly. (IXN-6311)
A few errors found by automatic tools were fixed. Previously, in very rare cases, Interaction Server could shut down unexpectedly. (IXN-6302)
Interaction Server now correctly sends interactions for routing with ORS even if segmentation limits are not specified. Previously, if such limits were not specified, no interactions were sent for routing. (IXN-5962)
Upgrade Notes
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 9.0.003.06.
