What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Starting from this release, Interaction Server supports the following databases. See the eServices page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported databases.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2022
- Microsoft SQL Server Cluster 2022 with AlwaysOn
- Starting from this release, the integrated Web Service Capture Point uses OpenSSL 3.0.10 for secure communication. (IXN-7614)
- Integrated Kafka Capture Point checks the newly established consumer connection by requesting topics list. If the request fails or request timeout expires, connection fails. Now, the request timeout is configurable for cases when the Kafka broker takes extra time to respond. The option -Dcapturepoints.kafka.check.timeout must be defined under jvm-options section of Interaction Server application options. Value must be within the range of 1 to 60 while the default value is 1. (IXN-7613)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Interaction Server no longer stops working when a configuration change happens. Previously in rare cases, Interaction Server could stop working due to a race condition if changing configuration at the same time when Interaction Server performed calculations on segmented view. (IXN-7602)
Integrated Kafka Capture Point now correctly recovers the producer connection. Previously under certain circumstances, some inbound and outbound threads could not recover the connection after closing producer. (IXN-7571)
Interaction Server no longer leaves an interaction in an incorrect state if RequestPlaceInQueue succeeds but database request fails due to database disconnection. Previously, interaction could become inaccessible until Interaction Server is restarted. (IXN-7500)
