What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- A new experimental way to configure Kafka connection parameters for Kafka Capture Point is introduced in this release. A custom class that implements a specifically designed Java interface can be specified by using the Configuration Server option, custom-options-provider/class-name. If this class is present in one of the jars specified in the Java class path, the object of this class is instantiated and is queried by Interaction Server for Kafka consumer and producer options. (IXN-5400)
- Interaction Server does not support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 any longer. See the eServices page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems, browsers, web server applications, and databases. (IXN-5822)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Interaction Server now prints properly the used locale in the startup log on Linux. Previously, random symbols were printed. (IXN-5957)
Interaction Server now handles curly braces in the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection string properly. (IXN-5878)
Interaction Server now handles the pull from view requests properly. (IXN-5831)
