What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Java libraries provided with Interaction Server are updated to newer versions. For information on the JAR file version, see Upgrade Notes. (IXN-6937)
- Interaction Server now requires License Server version 11.16 or later. (IXN-6796)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Path traversal vulnerability in Interaction Server Web Service Capture Point is fixed. Now, Interaction Server Web Service Capture Point does not provide any files. (IXN-6980)
Path traversal vulnerability in Interaction Server health web service is fixed. Now, Interaction Server health services provide files necessary for web UI only. (IXN-6979)
Interaction Server now correctly applies the strategy limit set for a specific router. Previously, in some cases, Interaction Server applied the default strategy limit instead of strategy limit specified for the router. (IXN-6811)
Distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks are no longer possible when certain malformed External ID is received by Interaction Server via Web Service Capture Point. (IXN-6793)
Interaction Server now connects (or allows connection) to the Oracle database through an Oracle proxy user. Previously, Interaction Server was not able to connect to the Oracle database through the Oracle proxy user specified in the configuration. (IXN-6792)
Interaction Server now stops correctly when Database Access Point (DAP) is configured incorrectly. Previously, in such cases, Interaction Server could hang indefinitely. (IXN-6705)
Upgrade Notes
Starting with this version, Interaction Server ships the kafka-clients-3.0.1.jar file instead of the older kafka-clients-3.0.0.jar file. This may require an update of the Java classpath configured for Interaction Server if Kafka Capture Point is used.
