What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • The following options are introduced to manage HTTP client connections:
    • use-http-keep-alive – Indicates whether the driver uses the keep-alive flag to maintain connection or not. The default value is true. If you set the value to false, the driver sends the Connection: close request in the header and does not use keep-alive during communication via HTTP(S). Possible values are true and false.
    • default-http-keep-alive-timeout – Specifies the default timeout, in seconds, for maintaining connection if nothing is specified about keep-alive in the HTTP(S) response header. The default value is 5. Possible values are integers from 1 to 60.
    • http-network-route-pool-size – Specifies the maximum number of connections by HTTP(S) that the driver can use per route. The default value is 64. Possible values are integers from 2 to 1024.
    • http-network-total-pool-size – Specifies the maximum number of connections by HTTP(S) in total. The default value is 256. Possible values are integers from 2 to 1024. (SMD-7025)
