Community

The Genesys Customer Care Community site provides access to customer forums and other interactive features. You can use the Customer Care Questions Forum to ask technical questions and exchange ideas with other Customers and Genesys staff.


Customer Care Questions Forum

This forum is designed for Genesys customers to have active discussions on technical topics. To access the forum, login to My Support and click the Community tile. The first page will take you to the Questions Forum.

If you need more help, please open a case. Customer Care is always happy to answer your questions.




Posting a Question

To post a question, simply type your question and click the search button.

You will see a drop-down with related posts and articles. You can look at these, or continue to post your question. When you post a question, you must assign it to a specific product line using the Topic field.

Answering a Post

To answer a post, click the Answer link under a post with no comments or click the "Write an answer or comment" link under posts that already have comments, and type your answer.

Browsing Posts

You can filter the posts displayed by selecting a product line in the "Browse by categories" list on the left. You can also see the Most Popular Questions and Most Recent Questions on the right side. Simply click on a question to view it.

This questions forum is connected to our Knowledge Search, so it displays Knowledge articles as well as forum posts that may be able to answer your question.

You can filter the posts displayed by selecting a product line in the "Browse by categories" list on the left. You can also see the Most Popular Questions and Most Recent Questions on the right side. Simply click on a question to view it.

While browsing posts, you can change which posts to display and how they are sorted. Just below the text box where you post a question, you can see the line "Show Solved Questions by Most Popular." You can select and change the Solved Questions and Most Popular settings to display, for example, only unanswered questions or recent activity.

Like, Follow and Flag

When viewing a post, you will see the words Like, Follow and Flag at the bottom of the post.

  • You can Like a post to show you agree with it.
  • You can Follow a post to receive email notifications when there are new comments.
  • You can Flag a post for Spam or Inappropriate content.
