Data Purge Utility

Available Releases

Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.

What's New

Using Data Purge Utility (DPU), it is possible to delete data older than the specified number of days stored by Workbench in its Cassandra Database. Optionally, DPU can also delete log files that are older than the specified number of days. Optional mechanism is provided to optimize the disk usage after the deletion of data.

Please note that it is necessary to stop Workbench and start Cassandra manually before DPU can be run. DPU must be run on the same machine where Workbench is installed. Once DPU completes its execution, Workbench can be started normally.
