What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Genesys Administrator Extension (GAX) now supports PostgreSQL 13.x and SQL Server 2019. See the Genesys Administrator Extension page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported databases. (GAX-11127, GAX-10987)
  • CometD version is updated from 4.0.2 to 5.0.6. (GAX-11224)
  • GAX internal third-party libraries are now upgraded to:
    • commons-httpclient 3.1
    • hibernate-entitymanager 5.3.20.Final
    • jackson-databind 2.11.0
    • jackson-annotations 2.11.0
    • netty- 4.1.63.Final 
    • commons-beanutils 1.9.4
Important
Intelligent Workload Distribution (IWD) application was not tested for the plugin compatibility in this release.


Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:


GAX Agent dashboard now imports skills correctly even if the .CSV file has the substring Option in the Skill name. (GAX-11222)


Starting with this release, there are no read requests to the GAX application object for any updates on configuration objects. Previously, there were unnecessary read requests to the GAX application object whenever there was an update to any configuration objects. (GAX-10972)


GAX now deletes Personality correctly, even if there is an Integer type parameter with a value that is same as the Personality ID. (GAX-11173)


The Import feature now overwrites the existing options correctly when the Overwrite existing options check box is selected. (GAX-11184)


The XSS vulnerability in jquery.ui 1.9.2 dialog module is resolved. (GAX-11177)
