What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

• This release adds the option twitter.direct-message-max-chars. It specifies the number of characters allowed in a single direct message. The default value is 10,000, valid values are any integer, and changes take effect immediately.

For all the ExternalServiceProtocol connections within the Social Media Plug-in, the charset is now determined by the value of the general.non-unicode-connection-encoding option. If that option's value is missing, the default system charset is used. (SMD-2702)
