Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
The driver now includes a new option, use-username-hashing, which allows an agent to view the Facebook username when the agent receives the interaction. This option ensures the driver is compatible with Facebook session interactions when displaying the business’s customer name.
The option's default value is true. Valid values are:
- true - The driver uses a specific algorithm and generates special names for the customer names.
- false - The driver sends the customer names as they are, without any special processing.
Social Media Plugin for Workspace Desktop Edition renders the customer names in a readable format in the chat transcript regardless of the above option values. (SMD-7193)
Upgrade Notes
If you are upgrading Cloud API Driver for Facebook to 9.0.012.26, you must also upgrade Cloud API Driver for Twitter to 9.0.012.26.
