What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Interaction Server now includes the following health monitoring-related enhancements:
- A new endpoint /health/all/ has been added on the Interaction Server health port. All health counters are provided together on this endpoint. (IXN-4813)
- New health counters for Interaction Queue Views have been added on the /health/routing endpoint. (IXN-4770)
- New health counters for strategies loaded in routers have been added on the /health/routing endpoint. (IXN-4769)
- Prometheus format is now supported in Interaction Server health monitoring. Metrics in this format can be retrieved from each endpoint by passing format=prometheus in the URL query. (IXN-4772)
- Support for the following operation systems. See the Supported Operating Environment: eServices page for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Hyper-V (IXN-4741)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (IXN-4738)
- Support for the Oracle 18c database. See the Supported Operating Environment: eServices page for more detailed information and a list of all supported databases. (IXN-4755)
- Support for Oracle Database 18c Real Application Clusters (RAC) including Transparent Application Failover (TAF). (IXN-4729)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Interaction Server now correctly handles connection of StatServer in heavy-loaded environment. Previously, in rare cases it could hang. This regression was introduced in the 8.5.302.12 release. (IXN-4798)
Interaction Server now quickly reconnects to URS. Previously, in rare cases one of the following occurred:
- URS disconnected from Interaction Server, and Interaction Server had to be restarted to restore service. (IXN-4758)
- Interaction Server did not send interactions to URS for routing. (IXN-4718)
Upgrade Notes
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.304.07.
