What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Updates to Oracle and MS SQL Server Database Support—See the Advisors Platform Release Note for information about support for additional versions of both Oracle and MS SQL Server database software. (PLT-8244, PLT-8206, PLT-8141)
  • CentOS Support—Support for CentOS Linux 7.6 operating system. See the Pulse Advisors page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems. (PLT-8144, PLT-8141)
  • OpenJDK Support—Support for OpenJDK 11. (PLT-8190)
  • Oracle JDK Support—Support for Oracle Java 11. (PLT-8280)
  • Metric Graphing Enhancement—In the Metric Graphing window, timestamps in hh:mm format associated with the slider are now rounded to the closest minute. This matches the behavior of timestamps on the X-axis of the graph. If the number of seconds past the minute mark is less than 30, then the timestamp is rounded down, otherwise it is rounded up. (CAWU-13286)
  • Update to Apache Tomcat Support—See the Advisors Platform Release Note or the Pulse Advisors page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for information about support for a newer version of Apache Tomcat. (PLT-8236)


Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:


Contact Center Advisor/Workforce Advisor dashboards now correctly display the default (technical) name as a tooltip when a descriptive name is configured for an Application, Agent Group, or Contact Group. In previous 9.0 releases, the tooltip text was the same as the descriptive name, when one was configured. (CAWU-13303)


Making a Reporting Region inactive in the Advisors administration module works as it did in releases prior to release 9.0. That is, when you make a Reporting Region inactive in the administration module, the Reporting Region and its associated Application Group are removed from the CCAdv dashboard, but all of the mapping to Applications is retained. In previous 9.0 releases, to suppress a Reporting Region or an Application Group in the dashboard view, you had to remove the associations (mapping) with Applications. (CAWU-13298)


Contact Center Advisor now correctly detects a time zone offset change event such as the switch to Daylight Savings time. Previously, such a change was sometimes missed, which impacted metric calculations and the data source indicator. (CAWU-13289)


The Metric Graphing window now works correctly. In Advisors Hot Fix release 9.0.002.09, there were problems that caused the window to fail. (CAWU-13281, CAWU-13283)


In the Chrome browser, the Metric Graphing window now resizes correctly to accommodate the available space. Previously, you might have encountered uneven spacing of objects within the window, or an empty graph. (CAWU-13274)



Upgrade Notes

No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 9.0.003.04.
