What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Media Control Platform (MCP) now supports Windows Server 2016 Standard edition. See the Genesys Voice Platform page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems.
  • MCP can now provide file integrity using checksum computation. The checksum is calculated using the SHA256 algorithm while the files are being recorded. The checksum is accessible only if MCP is integrated with the Genesys Interactive Recording (GIR) service.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

The call duration will not be zero in the meta json files for failed to post recordings anymore. (GVP-40449)

MCP no longer fails to move the recorded files to the failed folder when AWS access key or secret access key values are not provided. (GVP-36949)

MCP no longer crashes when playing HTTP Live Streaming (also known as HLS) with shared streaming enabled. (GVP-36765)

MCP startup is now faster when GVP Reporting Server switches roles. (GVP-36712)

The MSML session is cleared and MCP stops normally if an MSML call is disconnected immediately after the VoiceXML dialog request arrives. (GVP-36561)

MCP can now handle the SRTP streams with UNENCRYPTED_SRTP and UNAUTHENTICATED_SRTP values negotiated in SDP. (GVP-36160)
