During the graceful timeout period, Media Control Platform (MCP) now sends a 480 response to the OPTIONS messages which prevents SIP Server from transferring calls away from MCP. When the graceful timeout period expires, the remaining calls are moved from MCP that handles the call. You can configure the graceful timeout period by using the graceful_timeout_period parameter in the Callmgr section in MCP configuration options. The default value for graceful_timeout_period parameter is 600. (GVP-46197)
