What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

• Security enhancements — This release includes important security fixes related to to Apache Log4j 2 vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-45105 and CVE-2021-44832):
  • The Log4j library included with RAA has been upgraded to 2.17.1.
  • The following updated JDBC drivers are provided to support Java 8 / Log4j 2.17.1:
    • postgresql-42.3.1.jar
    • mssql-jdbc-9.2.1.jre8.jar
    • ojdbc8.jar

  • The Class-Path in MANIFEST.MF, which is supplied with GIMAgg.jar, is optimized. Compatibility with log4j2 bridge is improved. (GCXI-5863)
