What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • A new option, media-origin, is added to specify the media source for which a channel is configured to work.
    Important
The option values, fbm-session and fbp-session, are not supported and reserved for future use.
    (DMS-826)
  • DMS now sets the UserNickname parameter of the FlexChat RequestLogin method based on the following conditions (evaluated in the specified order):
    1. Use the channel.from.nickname value if it is present in the inbound message.
    2. Use either channel.from.firstName or channel.from.lastName whichever is present in the inbound message. If both values are present, use a combined value.
    3. Use the channel.from.id value if the above values are not present.
Chat Server places this value in userinfo of chat interactions. To identify a user or client in a business process, users can use attributes from UserData of an interaction listed in WhatsApp Hub Driver Attributes. (DMS-844)
  • Starting from the DMS version 9.1.008.08, Chat Server basic protocol is not supported. (MSGA-3738)
