What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- A new method startLocalVideoStream:withExternalCapture is added to the GSVideoService protocol to allow the application code to perform video capture and to apply necessary corrections and filters before delivering captured video frames to SIP Endpoint SDK for further processing (SEPSDK-2905)
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
When sending re-INVITE for the Add Video feature, SIP Endpoint SDK now always reuses m-lines in SDP for a previously rejected video stream, if possible. In previous versions, a new m-line was added if the transport did not match which was still RFC-compliant but caused problems in some environments. (SEPSDK-2915)
SIP Endpoint SDK now correctly processes the TLS exceptions caused by remote side disconnections. Earlier, the application was unstable if any other activity was ongoing in other threads simultaneously. (SEPSDK-2909)
The performance of the H.264 video codec has been improved significantly reducing the CPU utilization on video calls with that codec. (SEPSDK-2903)
