Configuring an E1 environment

Purpose

To configure an E1 environment. This section provides an example of an E1 configuration.

Start

  1. Configure a controller:
    controller E1 0/2/0
    framing NO-CRC4
    ds0-group 0 timeslots 1 type fxo-loop-start
    ds0-group 1 timeslots 2 type fxo-loop-start
    ds0-group 2 timeslots 3 type fxo-loop-start
  2. Configure voice ports:
    voice-port 0/2/0:0
    output attenuation 0
    station-id name 2300090
    voice-port 0/2/0:1
    output attenuation 0
    station-id name 2300091
    voice-port 0/2/0:2
    output attenuation 0
    station-id name 2300092
  3. Configure dial peers:
    dial-peer voice 2300090 pots
