What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements.
- New incoming tweets are now grouped together with any other tweets of the same type from the same user that are currently in the queue. The new Social Messaging Server configuration option grouping-timeout specifies, in seconds, the timespan within which tweets must arrive in order to be grouped together.
Section: channel-Twitter-*any-name*
Valid values: Integer from 10 to 3600 (one hour)
Default value: No default value
Changes take effect: Upon restartTipIf this option has an invalid value (including none) or the option is missing, grouping is not done.
Resolved Issues
This release contains no resolved issues.
Upgrade Notes
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.400.53, except that in order to use the new grouping-timeout option you must also install Business Process for use with Twitter 8.5.400.00.
Also, it is strongly recommended that you upgrade Cloud API Driver for Facebook to version 8.5.400.67. If both Twitter and Facebook channels are in a single Social Messaging Server, this upgrade is required.
