What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Genesys Cloud API Driver for Twitter now supports operation with a proxy.
- This release implements rate limit management, safeguarding the system against running over rate limits that Twitter enforces. This is done by pausing the processing of Twitter messages when a channel reaches a rate limit. More information about Twitter rate limits is at:
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Analysis of inbound tweets has been improved so that all tweets mentioning or directed to the tracked Twitter handle are fetched. Previously some relevant tweets were omitted. (SMD-3203)
If a customer unfollows a brand, the Send Direct message link stops appearing on the agent's desktop. Previously, the link remained on the agent's desktop but in fact it was not possible to send a direct message. Note that there may be a delay of up to 15 minutes between the customer unfollowing the brand and the removal of the Send Direct message link. (SMD-2777)
