What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- On UNIX platforms, Solution Control Server can now specify the protocol to be used to secure its connections, by using the new configuration option sec-protocol. Security Pack 8.5.000.03 is required for this functionality to work properly. Refer to the Genesys Security Deployment Guide and the Framework Configuration Options Reference Manual for more information about this option and how to use it.
Resolved Issues
This release includes the following resolved issues:
When operating in single-language mode on the AIX or Solaris platform, Solution Control Server now starts the server application properly. Previously in this scenario, SCS did not relay the correct encoding information to Local Control Agent, and the server application did not start. (MFWK-15788)
The spelling of the message-format option has been corrected in the Application metadata of the Solution Control Server Application Template. Previously, this option was spelled incorrectly, and you had to manually update it, either in the Application Template object itself, or in the Application objects created from the template. (MFWK-15683)
