What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Support for Segmentation in IWDBP—Segmentation settings have been added to the ToDistribute view of the Distribution routing strategy in the iWD Business Processes for both IRD and Composer/ORS. Segmenting interactions ensures that all agents are kept busy by distributing tasks in each segment separately. As a result, even in a Distribution strategy that is populated by high-priority tasks assigned to small groups of agents, the strategy will not become so saturated that distribution of tasks to other agents is blocked. See New Features (new document).
- IWDBP for IRD Enhancements—The DetermineESPServerName and DeterminRulePackageName subroutines have been amalgamated into, and replaced by a new subroutine, FindListObjectName in the IWD Business Process for IRD. See New Features (new document).
- Task History Display—The display order of events on the Task History tab has been reversed to ensure that when the display limit is exceeded, the newest events appear at the top. Previously, the oldest events were displayed, and when the limit was exceeded no change was visible to the history.
- Discontinued Support for IWD Setup Utility—The IWD Setup Utility is no longer supported in IWD Deployment. New manual procedures to replace its functionality in deploying IWD are documented in the Deployment Guide here. These procedures were recommended from release 8.5.104.03 and are made mandatory from release 8.5.105.02.
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
After a task is successfully added to UCS, the Composer Business Process now correctly updates variable vIwdIsContactServer, rather than the variable vIwdIsAddedToContactServer that was incorrectly updated previously. (IWD-5398)
After an upgrade, IWD Manager now starts correctly. Previously in this scenario, a dependency to external resources blocked IWD Manager from starting. (IWD-5064)
Upgrade Notes
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.105.02.
