What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

• Beginning this release, Genesys Cloud API Driver for Facebook supports TLS v1.2 by default. To make this change work, the following line has to be added to JavaServerStarter.ini file:
  Dhttps.protocols=TLSv1.2
  Social Messaging Server must then be restarted in order to apply this change.

This release contains the following resolved issues:

The Facebook Driver channel configuration flag x-use-for-wwe-only = true should be used when the client is Workspace Web Edition only. When the flag is missing, it is read as x-use-for-wwe-only = false. (SMD-4123)

Upgrade Notes

No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.404.15.

Note: Social Messaging Server must be restarted after installing new driver in order to apply changes.
