What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- The Netty library has been upgraded to version 4.1.130.Final to address known security vulnerabilities.
- Websocket support for comet communication was added as a restrictive feature to work with a selected custom client application only.
- This requires enabling of serverSettings.enableWebsocketTransport
- Since WebSocket transport is a restricted feature, you need to reach out Genesys Technical Support for enabling this feature.
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issue.
Agents were unable to initiate outbound calls when their default place was set to None. Even though place details were provided during login, device details were not being returned, preventing call initiation. This issue has been resolved, and /contacts API will correctly return device details based on the place entered during login and the device mapped to that place.(GWS86-1396)
Users were unable to log in as GWS was trying to reach out to the IXN and UCS cluster running in a different region/data center from where the GWS node was running. After the fix GWS node selects the IXN and UCS cluster based on the GWS node’s location that was configured in the nodePath parameter under serverSettings section. This will ensure that GWS tries to establish connections with IXN and UCS clusters in the same region, ensuring correct routing and successful login.
