This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Support for Postgre SQL 9 database has been implemented in this release. See the iWD page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide.
- Runtime process initialization has been hardened to prevent restarts when tenant settings are modified. In process reload scenarios, the CSC Service is now no longer impacted.
This release contains the following resolved issues:
A problem with overlapping Data Mart ETL jobs, which was causing the Aggregate Statistics job to stop and then be unable to restart, has been fixed. Now, all intraday, historical and prune jobs have been put in the same execution queue. This prevents any Data Mart ETL jobs from running at the same time. (IWD-5217)
Looping problems caused by the absence of a default value in re-prioritization scenarios of the IWD Business Process for IRD have been corrected in the enhanced IWDBP in this release. (IWD-5294)
A problem that was causing Data Mart to fail to start because the Load Config job exited with an unexpected error has been resolved. The Data Mart startup routine has been hardened against misconfiguration, but please note the following important information—the Load Config service will need to read certain settings from the Tenant and parent tenant (if the latter exists). For example, it needs to have read permission to all applications involved in the Solution, including Capture Points and their application templates. This information has been added to the Deployment Guide. (IWD-5340)
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.104.03.
