iWD Runtime Node
The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list for all 8.5.x releases of iWD Runtime Node. This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected. The Resolved Issues section for each release describes the corrections and may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.

IWD 8.5 does not support use of Universal Contact Server 9.1.

Because the iwd_runtime.sh configuration file has been renamed to iWD_Runtime_Service.sh, the Linux installer is currently unable to collect and process the entries made during the installation process. After running the installation process, the person doing the installation must make the following manual edits to the configuration files:
In iwd_runtime.sh:
- The JAVA_JRE_PATH entry must be set to the path to Java JRE version 1.7.
- The IWD_NODE_PATH entry must be set to the absolute path to the iWD Runtime Node installation directory.
In iWD_Runtime_Service.sh:
- The IWD_NODE_PATH entry must be set to the absolute path to the iWD Runtime Node installation directory.
- The CFG_SRV_HOST entry must be set to the Configuration Server host name.
- The CFG_SRV_PORT entry must be set to the Configuration Server port number.
- The IWD_NODE_APP entry must be set to the iWD Runtime Node application name.

In very rare scenarios a message containing an announcement about the next scheduled work can be repeated several times on the Data Mart dashboard.

iWD Runtime Node raises an alarm in error on startup, instead of generating a regular log. This is only visible through Solution Control Server.

The su option in the iWD_Data_Mart_Service_Script.sh only works correctly when enclosed in quotation marks. This change can be made manually during the installation procedure.

After iWD Runtime Node installation, you must edit the file JavaServerStarter.ini, setting the JVMPath as follows:
- On 32-bit Windows to: c:\Java\jre1.7.0_XX\bin\client\jvm.dll
- On 64-bit Windows to: c:\Java\jre1.7.0_XX\bin\server\jvm.dll
where XX is the update number of Java JRE 7.
