This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- GDPS now uses Spark 1.6.3. Because of this, GDPS is no longer subject to the known security vulnerabilities of Spark 1.6.1.
This release contains the following resolved issues:
GDPS now supports the following connection-related security features when reading data from Cassandra:
- Password-based authentication
- Encryption and server authentication with TLS
- A combination of password-based authentication and TLS
Refer to the Web Engagement Cassandra security article for instructions on setting up Cassandra security for GDPS. Note, however, that mutual TLS is not currently supported by GDPS. (GARP-605)
No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 8.5.000.32.
