This release is under shipping control. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of Recording Crypto Server.
This release also includes the following corrections or modifications:
In premise deployments, Genesys Web Services (GWS) might be deployed using a blank domain name. RCS now supports a blank value for its domain name option. The correct configuration of this option is needed for archiving of call recording records. (GIR-422)
During archiving, SpeechMiner metadata is correctly deleted according to the configured retention time in RCS. Previously, up to an extra day's worth of data may have been deleted from the SpeechMiner database and the deletion from the Genesys Web Services database might be interrupted. (GIR-411)
RCS now supports reading the recording root CA certificate from a certificate file. In addition to the existing options, the rcs.properties cacertstorepath parameter can be set the path to the CA certificate file. The file must contain an X509 certificate in PEM format. (GIR-403)
Java no longer treats the Windows "\" path character as a special character when processing the rcs.properties Recording Crypto Server local configuration file. (GIR-395)
