What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • When trying to join a non-existent Co-browse session, the Co-browse Plug-in for Workspace Desktop Edition now displays an error message.
  • The Co-browse Plug-in for Workspace Desktop Edition no longer reads from applications connected to the Workspace Desktop Edition application in Configuration Server. This change avoids issues in Workspace Desktop Edition which previously occurred when an agent did not have read permissions to connected applications.

See Upgrade Notes for details on how to upgrade for this new configuration.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

Now, the Agent - Can Monitor Co-browse privilege is properly configured in the Co-browse Plug-in for Workspace Desktop Edition. (CB-4124)

If Workspace Desktop Edition is configured to connect to Interaction Server Proxy, the Co-browse Plug-in now works better when chat interactions are repeatedly routed to the same agent. (CB-3782)

Upgrade Notes

Co-browse Plug-in for Workspace Desktop Edition (WDE) 8.5.101.01 no longer supports Connections as configured in the WDE application. To upgrade, you must:

  1. Remove the connection to the Co-browse Node/Server application in WDE, and
  2. Instead, specify the url option in the cobrowse section of the WDE application.
