Installing the LRM Plug-in for GAX

The LRM Plug-in for GAX is an add-on component that is hosted by an existing Genesys Administrator Extension (GAX) installation. The LRM Plug-in for GAX accesses data from the LRM database to provide on-demand reporting to Service Providers and tenant administrators in the GAX graphical user interface (GUI) application .

Install the the LRM plug-in files into the existing GAX directories to enable report generation of LRM statistics from GAX.

  1. Confirm the full path to your Tomcat installation.
  2. Choose whether to use the default installation directory or choose a new one.
  3. If the target installation directory is populated, you must choose an action:
    • Back up all files in the directory.
    • Overwrite only the files contained in this package.
    • Delete all files in the directory.
  4. Stop Tomcat on the host running GAX.
  5. Run the installation executable.
    • For Windows, this file is <IP plug-in directory>/setup.exe.
    • For Linux, this file is <IP plug-in directory>/install.sh.
  6. Perform the installation steps, using the information that you gathered for the prerequisites.
  7. Start Tomcat on the host running GAX.
  8. In Configuration Manager, add the LRM Application object on the Connection tab of the GAX object.
