What is Genesys Enterprise Telephony Software?

Genesys Enterprise Telephony Software (GETS) integrates traditional telephony systems with computer desktop applications in the modern workplace. GETS enables users to have software control over physical telephones from the same place that they control other communications media (such as e-mail, instant messaging, presence detection)—that is, from their desktop computers, using Microsoft Office Communicator. From their computers, users can make and accept phone calls, initiate call transfers and conferences, and enable forwarding and do-not-disturb modes on their phone sets.

GETS reached End of Support (EOS) on April 30, 2015. It previously entered End of Life (EOL) on October 4, 2012. If you have questions, contact your account representative.
