eServices server names are now the same as the eServices plugin names (eServices_EmailServer, eServices_ClassificationServer, eServices_UniversalContactServer). (GENONE-740)

The parameter Supervisor Review Times now has the more accurate name of Email supervisor review percentage. (GENONE-243)

The Deployment Guide now correctly states that the sample person created by the SPD is AgentSample, not SampleAgent. (GENONE-233)

The email acknowledgement parameters are renamed and contain new sample text. (GENONE-228, GENONE-209, GENONE-208)

The Responses parameter group and template have been redesigned to eliminate redundant calendar parameters. (GENONE-211)

The Special Day standard response in Knowledge Manager no longer contains the "Suggestion to agents," which could garble the email acknowledgement. (GENONE-203)

iWS error processing now works correctly. In some cases, transactions were getting stuck. (GENONE-166, GENONE-150, GENONE-145)

The RouteToSupervisor workflow no longer shows a harmless "No user data is associated with the interaction" error. (GENONE-144)

Routing: The "Route To Agent With Auto Response" workflow now completes successfully. (ER# 318500765)

Routing: Correct initial values for parameter lists enable the email screening rules workflow to work properly. Previously, all emails could reach agent groups unscreened. (ER# 322126576)

Routing: A corrected value in the Out Of Office Hours, Office Hours, and Autoresponse Special Day parameters in the "Route To Agent With Auto Response" workflow now enables the generation of emails under those conditions. The previous value prevented the creation of such emails. (ER# 318500883)

Routing: The Open Hours function in the "Route To Agent With Auto Response" workflow no longer returns an Illegal Allocation error. (ER# 322902731)

Corrections and Modifications

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This release contains the following new features or functionality:

Note: To obtain the updated Genesys One 8.1 Deployment Guide mentioned in this hot fix release, contact your Genesys representative.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections or modifications:

The SPD file was updated to associate the eServices switch object with IXN_ORS T-Server application. Previously, the syntax was such that Genesys Administrator Extension could not understand it. (ER# 316675751)

This release includes a new version of the e-mail routing strategy/workflow. Options for the strategy/workflow and their associated values were updated accordingly and are reflected in the Genesys One 8.1 Deployment Guide. (ER# 316507355)

E-mail standard templates were added to this package. Previously, these real-time templates were mistakenly included in the Inbound package. (ER# 316985935)

The missing "/" character for the IXN_ORS application was added. Previously, the absence of the character prevented the import of the Service Package Definition (SPD) file, which prevented Genesys One from being deployed. (ER# 316538691)

Universal Contact Server (UCS) can now start as expected, as the UCS-related user account now provides correct access rights. Previously, the UCS user account access rights were insufficient to start UCS. Instructions on how to assign rights to the UCS-related user account are included in the updated Genesys One Deployment Guide. (ER# 316521221)

The SPD file now successfully deploys. Previously, it stopped deploying during the creation of the IXN application due to an incorrect string value for the application in the SPD file. (ER# 316675751)

Genesys One 8.1 Deployment Guide Corrections

Voice sample objects can be deployed if the Configuration Server option, allow-empty-password, is set to true. The Genesys One Deployment Guide, Section 3.3 was updated to reflect this. Note: When the option is manually set to true, the password for the AgentSample Person is AgentSample in the SPD. Previously, the guide indicated that the option should be set to false. (ER# 316507271)

The Genesys One Deployment Guide, Section 3.3, Configuration Server now includes ADDP parameters (protocol=addp, addp-timeout=30, addp-remote-timeout=60 and addp-trace=off) for connections between primary and backup Configuration Servers. Previously, these parameters were not included in the guide. (ER# 316507276)
