Load Distribution Server
Also known as LDS. A server that increases system scalability and availability. Mediating between T-Servers and T-Server clients, LDS enables an N
+1 architecture, where N is the number of clients that handle the load, in situations in which the total traffic of a large installation exceeds the capacity of a single client.
