What's New

This release contains the following new feature or enhancement:

  • On UNIX platforms, LCA can now specify the protocol to be used to secure its connections, by using the new configuration option sec-protocol. Security Pack 8.5.000.03 is required for this functionality to work properly. Refer to the Security Pack on UNIX 8.5 Release Note for more information about this option and how to use it.

Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

When running on a Linux platform, LCA no longer stops responding when trying to start an application with an invalid Working Directory parameter. (MFWK-15829)

You can now configure the ciphers used in LCA or Genesys Deployment Agent secure connections using TLS, by specifying them in the cipher-list option in the [security] section of the corresponding configuration file (lca.cfg for LCA, or gda.cfg for Genesys Deployment Agent). Refer to the Genesys Security Deployment Guide for more information about secure connections and ports, and related options. (MFWK-15756)

LCA now reports correct CPU usage metrics on multi-CPU servers running Linux. Previously, the reported metric was the total CPU usage and was not divided by the number of CPU cores. (MFWK-15675)
