New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release does not contain new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

Configuration Manager no longer terminates unexpectedly when you change the name of a configuration option section in the Options tab. Previously, when you created a new section and added an option and its value, then opened the section Properties and changed the section name in the Properties dialog box, Configuration Manager terminated without saving the change when you tried to close the Properties dialog box. (MFWK-17036)

Default behavior of the Make New action when applied to a Person object with an auto-generated password requires that the System Administrator reset the password for each new user. It is now possible to configure Configuration Manager to clear the password fields for each new Person object. To accomplish this, use the new environment variable CME_MAKE_NEW_PASSWORD and set its value to EMPTY. (MFWK-16932)

When you use the Make New button to create new editable copies of Stat Servers, the SCEE021 error is no longer generated. Previously in this scenario, this error did not allow you to create new objects. (ER# 294592292)

When you are editing a Person object and press the Enter key, you now receive the same response as clicking on OK button on the display. Previously in this case, the cursor just advanced to the next editable field. (ER# 258930115)

You can now import Solution Templates from 7.x versions of Genesys Solutions using Configuration Manager 8.1.x. (ER# 251443301)

Configuration Manager might display a Statistical Day as one day before it was configured if it was created in the UTC+10 (or above) time zone with DST. This does not affect the way the Statistical Day is stored in the Configuration Database, or how it is used by other products.

Workaround: If this display problem affects your operations, create the Statistical Day in Genesys Administrator.

If you make changes in an Alarm Condition, such as with the Alarm Condition Wizard in Solution Control Interface, and change as the source of the alarm event, any type of application to a specific application, and then revert back to the source being any type of application again, Configuration Manager might not report the proper type of application, displaying Unknown application type instead.

Workaround: Restart Configuration Manager to resolve this issue.
