Introduction

This release note applies to all 8.1 releases of CCPulse+.

• Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.
• The Release Number table lists the supported operating systems for each release at a high level. The Solution Reporting page in the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide provides detailed information about the supported operating environments, including requirements, supported versions, and any conditions or limitations for CCPulse+.
• The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.
• The Corrections and Modifications section for each release may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.
• The Discontinued Support section is cumulative. It lists functionality that is no longer supported and the release number of the version in which support was discontinued.

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly if a workspace with a large number of thresholds is open. Previously in such a case, CCPulse+ might terminate unexpectedly. (CCPULSE-2267)

Now CCPulse+ can be minimized while loading a large workspace. (CCPULSE-2265)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly after failing to re-establish its connection to Config Server and Stat Server. Previously, CCPulse+ terminated unexpectedly if it was not able to re-connect to Config Server and Stat Server following a network outage. (CCPULSE-2263)

Now CCPulse+ correctly shows agent views that have thresholds. Previously, thresholds for the same object could be calculated in the wrong order. (CCPULSE-2254)

Now CCPulse+ correctly connects to Configuration Server operating in single-language mode with mixed mode disabled. Previously, the first connection always failed. (CCPULSE-2248)

Now statistics are shown in sorted order in the Statistics Associations tab of the Statistic Properties dialog. (CCPULSE-2244)

CCPulse+ no longer displays an extra interval if the beginning or end of the interval is the first or last day of the week and the time zone is different from UTC. (CCPULSE-2231)

CCPulse+ now initializes historical statistics quicker, reducing loading times in some scenarios. (CCPULSE-2227)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the CallData value for the CurrentStats and CurrentTargetState statistics. (CCPULSE-2226)

When reconnecting to Configuration Server, CCPulse+ now prompts the user to enter a new password, if the password was changed after the initial connection. (CCPULSE-2170)

• CfgProxyMode
  Default Value: False
  Valid Values: True, False
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  If the value is set to True, CCPulse+ assumes that it connects to Configuration Server indirectly through the load balancer. In this case, CCPulse+ always uses the host name and the port number specified in the Login dialog to connect to the server.

• The following new configuration option is available in the [Workspace] configuration section:

• OpeningStatisticsRateLimit
  Default Value: 0
  Valid Values: 0 (zero) or positive integer
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies the maximum number of requests to open statistics allowed to be sent to Stat Server per second. Use this option only if your Stat Server is too busy to process all requests while opening a workspace. If the value is set to 0, there is no limit on requests.

• Support for Windows Server 2016 operating system. See the Solution Reporting page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems.

• Support for MS SQL Server 2016 database. See the Solution Reporting page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported databases.

Now CCPulse+ correctly sends localized strings to servers that operate in a single language mode. Previously, CCPulse+ might truncate strings that contain characters represented by two or more bytes. (CCPULSE-2183)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly on Windows 10 when UAC is enabled. (CCPULSE-2182)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly if remote storage is not accessible at startup. (CCPULSE-2180)

Now CCPulse+ properly creates a view for individual objects during configuration changes. Previously, CCPulse+ might terminate unexpectedly when configuration objects are added or removed while a view for individual objects is being created. (CCPULSE-2179)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly on Windows 10 with Symantec DLP installed. (CCPULSE-2177)

The default value of the Workspace.SafeScriptingMode option is changed to false. If you encounter a problem when calculating formulas and thresholds, set the value to true to achieve the previous behavior. (CCPULSE-2173)

Now in formulas, the method Filter(filter:string) on the internal state.CallData object works as expected. Previously, it did not return any data. (CCPULSE-2172)

The following changes were made in the formula engine:

• Now collection objects, such as state.CallData can be iterated using the Count property.
• Improved validation of formulas in formula editor.
• You can see more information in the log files while debugging formulas with Debug.Dump(object).

Now CCPulse+ uses regional settings of the current user to display dates and numbers. (CCPULSE-2160)

CCPulse+ no longer disconnects from DB Server on creating a Historical View with a lot of objects of different types. (CCPULSE-2152)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly when opening a workspace stored with CCPulse+ 8.0.1 in the CCPulse+ 7.x Storage format. (CCPULSE-2149)

Now CCPulse+ can connect to Stat Server in a network environment where establishing connection to a Genesys server takes a long time. (CCPULSE-2148)

• New StatusName format for CurrentState statistics.


• New ViewExtendedStatus value for UserInterface.DisabledUserCommands and UserInterface.DisabledCommands options. The ViewExtendedStatus value disables the Extended Current Status and Capacity window.

• The following new configuration option is available in the UserInterface configuration section:

  • ShowExtendedStatusDurations
    Default Value: true
    Valid Values: false, true
    Changes Take Effect: After restart

    Use this option to configure CCPulse+ to display the current state duration in the Extended Current Status window. Specify true to display durations or false to hide them.

• New formats for values of the CurrentStateReasons statistics:

  • Reasons: The default format that is similar to the one used in previous versions
  • Hours:Min:Sec
  • Reasons (Hours:Min:Sec)
  • StatusName (Reasons)
  • StatusName (Reasons) (Hours:Min:Sec)

• Sorting rules for CurrentStateReasons statistics in a Table View:

  • If the Hours:Min:Sec format is used, values are sorted by duration.
  • If the StatusName (Reasons) or StatusName (Reasons) (Hours:Min:Sec) format is used, the same sorting rules as for CurrentState statistics are used. Values are sorted by status name, reasons and duration. All the LoggedOut agents are displayed on the bottom of the table.
  • Otherwise, values are sorted by reasons and duration.

• Now Y-axes of Graph Views display duration of reasons for CurrentStateReasons statistics.

Note: Templates stored in the new version of CCPulse+ cannot be open with previous versions of CCPulse+.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following correction and modification:

For UserInterface.DisabledUserCommands and UserInterface.DisabledCommands configuration options, the ToolsActionVizard possible value is renamed to ToolsActionWizard.

For backward compatibility, CCPulse+ continues to support the previous value. Genesys highly recommends to use the new value in your configuration as support for the previous value can be discontinued in a future release. (CCPULSE-2141)

Now CCPulse+ shows correct statistics values if a language pack is in use and a comma is used as a decimal point. Previously, CCPulse+ might trim the value after the first significant digit.

Now Table and Graph views display numeric values in the format specified for the selected language. (CCPULSE-2115)

• The following changes were made to the Configuration Wizard - Object Types dialog box:
  
  
  • All the logical types that are displayed in bold contain check-boxes.
  • When selecting a logical type, all the descent items are selected recursively.
  • When selecting a non-logical type while holding the SHIFT button pressed, all the items beneath it are selected recursively.
  
  Note: A logical type cannot be selected without also selecting any non-logical descent item.


• The following changes were made to the Configuration Wizard - Object Instances dialog box:
  
  
  • All the logical types that are displayed in bold contain check-boxes.
  • When selecting an item while holding the SHIFT button pressed, all the items beneath it are selected recursively.
  
  Note: If you want the workspace to display any new object created in the configuration, the appropriate parent logical type should be selected.
  For example, to display new Groups of Agents the type Persons should be selected.

Now on startup CCPulse+ automatically creates storage files in a specified location if they do not exist. (CCPULSE-2136)

This version addresses unexpected terminations of CCPulse+ while communicating with Stat Server. (CCPULSE-2128)

Now CCPulse+ displays column Object values in the root level table of a Historical View in the correct order when using the Hide Row feature. Previously, CCPulse+ might display the names unsorted after hiding a row. (CCPULSE-2114)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly when it requests data for a new Agent in a Dynamic View and Configuration Server returns no data. (CCPULSE-2111)

Now CCPulse+ uses the system default codepage for string data received from Configuration Server operating in a single-language mode. Previously, the codepage corresponding to the CCPulse+ user interface language was used. (CCPULSE-2099)

CCPulse+ no longer loses connection to DB Server over a secure channel. Previously, CCPulse+ connection to the DB Server over secure channel might be terminated unexpectedly with the error The specified data could not be decrypted. (CCPULSE-2092)

Now CCPulse+ x64 can be installed on Windows 7x64. Previously, Windows 7x64 was only supported by the x86 installation package. (CCPULSE-2087)

CCPulse+ no longer allows users with the User rank to rename a workspace in the Open Workspace dialog. Previously, these users could rename the currently selected workspace by clicking on it. (CCPULSE-2085)

Now CCPulse+ converts relative paths to absolute paths while reading the configuration. Previously, an attempt to create a real-time view could fail if prior to that the view was saved in the HTML format. All relative paths are considered relative to the installation directory of CCPulse+. (CCPULSE-2078)

• The context menu for the Objects pane window and the Tree View contains the Show Hidden menu item. The menu item allows you to show/hide tree items that were hidden by an action.
  Note: Enabling the hidden objects in the Tree View does not affect other views.

• The context menu for the Tree View does not display the Rename Document menu item if the root item of the tree is not selected.

• CCPulse+ displays objects in the root Table View in the same order as in the Tree View.

• The following new configuration option is available in the Workspace configuration section:

• ThresholdMode
  Default Value: Accurate
  Valid Values: Accurate, FirstFalse, FirstTrue
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies how CCPulse+ should process thresholds:

  • Accurate: CCPulse+ processes all the thresholds and executes their actions if they are true.
  • FirstFalse: CCPulse+ processes thresholds and executes their actions while they are true. CCPulse+ stops processing on the first threshold that is false. Subsequent thresholds are not processed.
  • FirstTrue: CCPulse+ processes thresholds and skips their actions while they are false. CCPulse+ stops processing on the first threshold that is true and executes its actions. Subsequent thresholds are not processed.

• The following new configuration option is available in the Performance configuration section:

  • EnableScriptDebug
    Default Value: False
    Valid Values: False, True
    Changes Take Effect: After restart

    Specifies whether the debugging features in the threshold, action and formula scripts are enabled. If set to False, all the methods of the Debug object in scripts are available but do nothing.
    Note: Do not allow script debugging on production systems as this can significantly reduce performance.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

Now CCPulse+ does not update the value of the formula-based statistics if the formula's script does not set a value for the result object. Previously, CCPulse+ changed the value of the formula-based statistics to an empty string. The state object in formula scripts supports the additional property source. This property contains information about the statistics used to fill the state object. It supports the following properties:

• GroupName: The name of the statistics group (example, New Stat. Group 1).
• StatName: The name of the statistics (example, CurrentExAgentState 1).
• StatType: The statistical type of the statistics (example, CurrentExAgentState).
• StatCategory: The category of the statistics (example, CurrentState).
• StatSubject: The subject of the statistics (example, DNAction).

If an agent is removed from a group, CCPulse+ removes it from the Real-Time V/AG Dynamic Membership views without delay. Previously, such agents were removed with the delay specified in the option View.DelayBeforeRemoval. (CCPULSE-2064)

Now the CCPulse+ installation package includes the Templates directory where the standard out-of-box actions, thresholds, and templates for real-time and historical reports are stored. The sample actions DLL, written in Visual Basic, is moved from the ObjectSamples\VB directory to the Samples\VB directory.

Note: Do not use the sample DLL in the production systems. It does not work on x64 platforms and is not supported any longer. It is included in the installation package for backward compatibility only.

CCPulse+ no longer allows a user to remove the last object from a view. (CCPULSE-2056)

The following new objects are available in the threshold, action and formula scripts:

• Debug
  Provides functionality for script debugging.

Methods:

• Echo Message
Records message to the log on the TRACE level.
• Message: A string to record
• Dump Name, [ShowMethods]
  Dump Object, [ShowMethods]
Creates dump of the object and records it to the log.
• Name: A string name of the object to create dump
• Object: An object to create dump
• ShowMethods: Indicates whether to show methods of the object. The default value is False.
• DumpAll [ShowMethods]
  Creates dumps of all the objects and records them to the log.
• MShowMethods: Indicates whether to show methods of the objects. The default value is False.

Properties:

• Tag
  A string used as a tag when recording messages to the log. The initial value is the name of the script.

Notes:
1. If the Performance.EnableScriptDebug option is set to False, then all the methods of the object do nothing.
2. Do not use the object on production systems as this can significantly reduce performance.

• Tools
  Provides functionality that is often used in the actions. Previously, most of them were implemented in the library example GsSampleTEObjects.dll.

Methods:

• ExpandEnvStrings String
Expands environment-variable strings and replaces them with the values defined for the current user.
• String: A string that contains one or more environment-variable strings in the form: variableName. For each such reference, the variableName portion is replaced with the current value of that environment variable.
• Beep [Freq], [Duration]
Generates simple tones on the speaker.
• Freq: The frequency of the sound, in hertz. This parameter must be in the range 37 through 32,767. The default value is 810.
• Duration: The duration of the sound, in milliseconds. This parameter must be in the range 0 through 1,000. The default value is 300.
• Flash [Count]
Flashes the main window of CCPulse+.
• Count: The number of times to flash the window. The default value is 5.
• PlaySound File
Starts to play a specified sound. At the time of calling, if the previous sound continues to play then it stops.
• File: A file name to play.
• Run File, [Params]
Performs the default operation on a specified file.
• File: A file name to execute the operation.
• Params: If File specifies an executable file, this parameter is a string that specifies the parameters to be passed to the application. The default value is an empty string.

Now CCPulse+ allows you to monitor the CurrentStateReasons category statistic. (CCPULSE-1133)

    If DB Server is not used for a specified number of seconds, then it will be disconnected.

  • IgnoreHostIP

    Specifies whether CCPulse+ should ignore IP addresses specified in Host configuration objects.

  [HistoricalView] Section

  • MaxIntervals
    Default Value: 100
    Valid Values: > 0
    Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies the maximum number of time intervals requested from database server for a historical view.

  [log] Section

  Note: To log messages received from the servers the debug level must be enabled. The following example shows the recommended settings:

    Specifies the level of detail in the log for messages received from Stat Server.

    Default Value: brief
    Valid Values: none, brief, full

    Specifies the level of detail in the log for messages received from the database server.

  [UserInterface] Section

  • StatisticsEditorStyle
    Default Value: Dialog
    Valid Values: Dialog, PropertiesTable
    Changes Take Effect: After restart
    

    Sets the style of the Statistic Properties dialog in the Templates Wizard.
    The default value Dialog indicates the use of style as in previous versions.
    The new PropertiesTable style of the Statistic Properties dialog implements the following new features:

    • Editing properties for multiple selected statistics.
    • Displaying modified properties in bold.
    • Resetting of values for individual properties.

    Added support to perform operations on multiple statistics on Pre-defined Statistics page of the Templates Wizard.

  • Note 1: Rename operation is available for a single statistic only.
  • Note 2: Historical Association tab of the Statistic Properties dialog is available for a single statistic only.
  • Note 3: To enable editing of properties for multiple statistics, the option UserInterface.StatisticsEditorStyle must be set to PropertiesTable.

  • DisabledCommands

  Specifies whether to remove the command disabled by the DisabledCommands and DisabledUserCommands options from menus and toolbars.

  The following list shows the affected user interface commands:

  • FileNew disables File|New menu item.
  • FileSave disables File|Save and File|Save As menu items.
  • FileSaveXML disables File|Save As XML menu item. It takes precedence over [UserInterface].EnableXMLExport.
  • FileSaveHTML disables File|Save As HTML menu item.
  • FilePrint disables File|Print, File|Print Preview and File|Page Setup menu items.
  • ViewConsole disables View|Console menu item and the console window. It takes precedence over [Console].Enable.
  • ViewCapacity disables View|Capacity menu item and the capacity window.
  • ViewPeekStatistics disables View|Peek Statistics menu item.
  • ToolsSettings disables Tools|Settings menu item.
  • ToolsImportExport disables Tools|Import/Export menu item.
  • ToolsTemplateWizard disables Tools|Template Wizard menu item.
  • ToolsThresholdWizard disables Tools|Threshold Wizard menu item.
  • ToolsActionWizard disables Tools|Action Wizard menu item.

[View] Section

• MaxNumberOfPointsOnRootGraph
  Default Value: 100
  Valid Values: 1 to 450
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies the maximum number of data points (objects) allowed on a graph at the root level. If the number of points exceeds the specified value then the graph is not shown.

  In addition, the following changes were made in the graphs at the root level:

  • When adding an object into the view, the graphs automatically disappear when the resulting number of objects is greater than the value of the View.MaxNumberOfPointsOnRootGraph option.
  • When deleting an object from the view, the graphs automatically appear when the resulting number of objects is less than or equal to the value of theView.MaxNumberOfPointsOnRootGraph option.

• CurrentStateForceChangesBased
  Default Value: False
  Valid Values: False, True
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies whether CCPulse+ should request CurrentState statistics in the changes-based notification mode instead of the time-based mode.

  Notes:

  • The option affects only CurrentState statistics with the notification mode set to Time-based in a template.
  • The table view for a CurrentState statistics displays the values stored in a template, not the actual values used to query the statistics.

• AddNewObjectMembers
  Default Value: True
  Valid Values: False, True
  Changes Take Effect: After restart
  
  Specifies whether to add newly created member objects to views.

  Note: The option affects Real-Time View for Members and Historical View for Members only.

• DeleteObjectMembers
  Default Value: True
  Valid Values: False, True
  Changes Take Effect: After restart
  
  Specifies whether member objects, deleted in the configuration layer, should be deleted from views too.

  Note 1: The option does not affect Real-Time V/AG Dynamic Membership views.

  Note 2: For Real-Time View and Historical View, the object is deleted when the last reference to it is deleted from the workspace.

[Workspace] Section

• RetainSelectedTypes
  Default Value: True
  Valid Values: False, True
  Changes Take Effect: After restart

  Specifies whether to store information about the selected object types in the workspace. The default value True, changes CCPulse+ behavior, so that selected types are saved in the workspace.

  Notes:
  

  • For the [Workspace].AddNewObjectMembers configuration option to work as expected, set the value of the RetainSelectedTypes option to True (the default value).

  When you convert from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant environment, you must perform the conversion controlled by this configuration option. It provides a comma-separated list of DBID transformations to be performed at the opening of the workspace. The value CfgObjectType specifies the type of configuration objects for which the DBID transformation will be performed. If not specified, the last will be used. It can take on any value defined in Configuration Server. If some type of configuration object is not used by the application, all the DBID transformations of that type are ignored.

  The parameter OldDBID=NewDBID defines the single transformation when all the DBID values of OldDBID will be replaced by NewDBID. OldDBIDStart-OldDBIDEnd=NewDBIDStart defines the range transformation when all the DBID values in the range from OldDBIDStart to OldDBIDEnd will be replaced with the corresponding values in the range from NewDBIDStart to NewDBIDStart + OldDBIDEnd - OldDBIDStart.

  The following example shows the simplest DBID transformation that you can use after you upgrade single-tenant configuration server to multi-tenant:

• If a storage path points to a network resource and the current user's name / password is not valid for the resource, CCPulse+ does the following:

  • Displays a dialog that allows the user to specify different credentials.
  • Makes a connection to the network resource.

• CCPulse+ now saves the information about a sort order of the table view in the workspace.

  Note: If you save a workspace in this version of CCPulse+, the previous version of the program can load the workspace, but cannot restore the recorded states of table views. This includes:
  • hidden columns
  • width of columns
  • hidden rows
  • table view properties

• The Graph page of the Templates Wizard now contains a button that enables you to restore the initial (default) statistics grouping. (CCPULSE-1949)

• The main CCPulse+ installation package is available now in English only. For any other language support an appropriate Language Pack (LP) must be installed.

• A new Show associated templates only checkbox was added to the wizard page:

  • If the checkbox is unchecked, the Available Templates shows all templates that are compatible with the specified object type. In this case, a user can see exactly the same list of templates as the one in the creation of the view.

• The Graph page of the Templates Wizard now displays statistics grouped by the Graphs in the form of a tree. It enables the user to add new Graphs, and change the position of statistics by dragging and dropping them. The empty graphs are excluded from the template when they are saved. The initial grouping of statistics is performed as they are in in previous versions - by Statistic Category.

  Note 1: A graph cannot contain statistics from different Statistic Groups. A graph can contain statistics with different categories, but the format of the Y-axis label depends on the category of the first visible statistic.

  Note 2: The category of some statistics (for example, formulas) depends on the return value. In the preview, Y-axis labels for such statistics might differ from labels in the graph view.

  Note 3: Previous versions do not use grouping stored in the template, and group statistics when the reading the template for first time. If you store the template in older version of CCPulse+, the Graphs configuration layout will be lost and reset to default grouping.

• Performance of formulas was improved in this release.

• CCPulse+ now displays tenants on the Objects pane and in the Configuration Wizard sorted in order. The Environment tenant is always shown first.

• Reason Codes and User Data are displayed differently in the Extended Status window and in Views.

  Reason codes and User Data are shown in Views only for the following DN actions:

CCPulse+ now correctly behaves when the CurrentStateRefreshInterval option is set to N. This setting now affects only CurrentState statistics with notification mode set to Changes Base or Time Based. If a statistic was updated in less than N seconds ago, then its duration is not changed. (CCPULSE-1932)

Tooltips explaining controls for adjusting window panes (Floating/Docking/Auto Hide/Hide) are now translated in all languages. (CCPULSE-1923)

• The Insensitivity field can be left empty. The empty value is replaced with the current default value when the template is saved. The default value depends on the Statistical type and Frequency of Updates settings.
• The Notification Frequency field can be left empty.
• If a statistic is time-related and Notification Mode is set to Changes Based, the empty value is equivalent to the value of -1 that was used in CCPulse+ 7.5 to mean Not Applied.
• Otherwise, the empty value is replaced with the current default value when the template is saved. The default value depends on the Statistical type and Frequency of Updates settings.

  This option is configured in the the [CustomStatistic] section and enables you to control which values are displayed. Specify all three values (separated by semicolon) if you use User Data values with reason codes in Formulas or display them in the Extended Status window or in a view.

When users add objects to a Historical View and connection to DB Server terminates unexpectedly, the Table View displays no data and the Graph View contains data only for the previous set of objects.

Workaround: Deactivate and then reactivate the view when the connection to DB Server is restored. (CCPULSE-2094)

Typo in Reporting 8.1 CCPulse+ Administrator’s Guide under descriptions of the following options:

• CfgEventDetails
• StatEventDetails
• DbEventDetails

Workaround: Specify full (instead of fulls) to get the most detailed log. (CCPULSE-1928)

If a user chooses the Select Objects... context menu from the Objects pane and adds only one group including members from the Configuration wizard - Object Instances dialog, the group will be added without members in Objects pane. As a workaround:

1. Open the Configuration wizard - Object Instances dialog again.
2. Uncheck the Include All check box under the selected group and click OK.
3. Open the Configuration wizard - Object Instances dialog.
4. Check the Include All check box under the selected group and click OK.

Attempting to perform the following actions produces no result except that an error message appears in the log:

• ExecuteProcess
• PCSpeakerAudioAlert
• WAVAudioAlert

As a workaround, copy the missing ObjectSamples/VB folder, along with the included libraries, from a previous version of CCPulse+ to the current installation folder. After you do so, the functionality is restored. (CCPULSE-2052)

If a user right-clicks on the Objects pane while CCPulse+ is creating a Real-Time V/AG Dynamic Membership or a Real-Time View for Members, the Table View might display n/a for some statistics, and statistics values might not update. As a workaround, press F5 or Peek Statistic to refresh the current view. (CCPULSE-2038)

CCPulse+ release 8.0.0 required that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Runtime be installed. This prerequisite is not applicable to CCPulse+ release 8.0.200.13 and higher. In these releases, all appropriate DLLs are installed automatically with CCPulse+ installation. (CCPULSE-1569)

CCPulse+ does not refreshes the axis of graphs after an object is removed from the view.

Workaround: Choose an object in the Tree View and then click on the root element of the view. (CCPULSE-1900)

Do not use ActiveX objects from the sample DLL files (such as GSSampleTEObjects.dll) in actual scripts that are intended to trigger any actions. While these legacy samples are provided with CCPulse+ 8.1, they are no longer supported. (CCPULSE-1889)

CCPulse+ sometimes generates the "Unspecified Error" pop-up dialog when you work with Print Preview or Print dialogs. You can ignore this error. (CCPULSE-1867)

In some cases, when DB Server is disconnected, CCPulse+ keeps trying to reconnect to DB Server, even though the DB Server connection was not active for more then 10 minutes prior to the failure. (CCPULSE-1725)

The Views window displays the reason codes and user data for only the following DN actions:

• LoggedIn
• LoggedOut
• AfterCallWork
• NotReadyForNextCall
• WaitForNextCall

The Extended Status window displays reason codes for all DN actions. (CCPULSE-1648)

After switching to the backup Stat Server, CCPulse+ displays an incorrect n/a status of a statistic in the console window if it is absent on the backup Stat Server, but present on the primary Stat Server. Select the statistic view to display the correct details. (CCPULSE-1542)

CCPulse+ does not start if the security banner is configured with the AckMandatory registry option set to 1 and if the document pointed to by the URLs cannot be retrieved or rendered for any reason. You must set AckMandatory to 0 or remove the security banner setting from the registry. (CCPULSE-1271, ER# 295979531)

You no longer can change the height of individual rows in the Table view. CCPulse+ is now lightweight with faster grid control. You can use Properties in the context menu on the table header to change the height of all rows or use Settings to change the font properties. (CCPULSE-1128, ER# 268899978)

You cannot sort within historical views. Sorting in historical views makes the data unreadable. (CCPULSE-1077, ER# 264140322)

If you try to save a workspace while Stat Server switches between primary and backup, you might get an error message when saving workspace or when subsequently opening it. (ER# 315386771)

CCPulse+ can now auto-load a workspace with a type, other than that specified in the Storage\DefaultStorageType option when processing the Workspace\WorkspaceAutoLoad option. Previously, CCPulse+ could only auto-load a workspace of the default type. (CCPULSE-1429)

CCPulse+ might change the graph type in templates if a user imports templates from Binary or XML storage to Legacy storage. (ER# 312702461)

CCPulse+ might exit with an out of memory error upon opening or creating large Historical Views (with tens of thousands of rows returned from a Data Mart query). CCPulse+ was designed to process approximately 1000 rows from Data Mart with a maximum of several historical views per workspace. This means that CCPulse+ can process a maximum of 1000 number of objects multiplied by number of intervals in a view. (ER# 311565348)

If agent names are renamed, added, or removed in the configuration layer, CCPulse+ does not update the agent names during reconnection or in views, except for those in an agent's real-time views, which can be updated when an agent logs out and logs in again. (ER# 311325001)

If you change the docking mode of the objects window while the workspace is loading, CCPulse+ might behave incorrectly after the workspace is opened; for example, you might not be able to change the active view. As a workaround for this issue, switch the view mode from floating to docking and back for to floating the CCPulse+ panels. (ER# 311095147)

If you use a workspace that you saved in some earlier releases of CCPulse+ (for example, 7.5.100.12), then CCPulse+ sometimes might show all the hidden rows or columns that you saved in the workspace. (ER# 310828643)

The WorkspaceAutoLoad option might not work when a database of Data Mart is unavailable if the workspace contains any historical views. As a workaround, you can manually open the workspace after CCPulse+ starts. (ER# 310149571)

When modifying existing templates, the Template Wizard shows the chart options from the previous template in the following scenario:

1. Select a chart type.
2. Go back twice.
3. Select a different template to edit.

(ER# 311784464)

Because CCPulse+ tries to save the primary or backup Configuration Server information in the registry between connections, CCPulse+ might incorrectly display the mode (primary or backup) of the Configuration Server in the status bar in cases when you switch the backup Configuration Server to primary mode and back. (ER# 304193691)

Use the Window>Windows... menu item to access the views for tabs that are not currently visible in the workbooks tabs area. (ER# 259052336)

CCPulse+ may not allow you to save your Workspace after you have deactivated some views. Should this occur, change the state of your Workspace and try to save it again. CCPulse+ should now save your Workspace correctly. (ER# 244103471)

CCPulse+ does not update the real-time view when changes not affecting group membership are made in Configuration Server to members of a group (Agent Group, DN Group, or Place Group). This also occurs with Virtual Agent Group dynamic membership real-time view when agent application changes are not affecting membership. (ER# 244674880)

When the GS.dll file is not registered, CCPulse+ may display an incorrect message about the invalid location of the Templates.stg and Workspaces.stg files. If you receive this message, you must reinstall CCPulse+. (ER# 237358801)

If Stat Server is configured to accept connections in backup mode, CCPulse+ preserves its existing connection to that Stat Server when it is switched from primary to backup mode, rather than connecting to the new primary Stat Server. (ER# 243977181)

The File > Close All menu command incorrectly remains enabled if used when there are no open workspaces. Genesys advises that you do not use this command when there are no open workspaces. (ER# 244041281)

If you use a workspace that you saved in earlier releases of CCPulse+ (for example, 7.5.100.12), then CCPulse+ sometimes shows all the hidden rows or columns that you saved in the workspace. (CCPULSE-1348, ER# 310828643)

When reconnecting to Stat Server, CCPulse+ makes an incorrect stat request for statistics that were opened for the Tenant object before disconnecting from Stat Server in the following scenario:

1. Stat Server and CCPulse+ are connected and running.
2. In CCPulse+, the Real Time view is opened for the Tenant object. This view is based on the template that was created for Tenant object type.
3. The statistical values are incremented, and are reflected in the Real Time view as a result of Call Center activity.
4. Stat Server is terminated, and CCPulse+ is disconnected.
5. Stat Server is restarted and CCPulse+ is reconnected.
6. When Stat Server initialized statistics in the Persistent Statistic Pool, it generated the following error message:

This scenario was reproduced using Stat Server version 7.5.000.21. (ER# 123452381)

In large environments (containing thousands of objects), the WorkspaceAutoLoad CCPulse+ configuration option may not work. Genesys recommends that you configure CCPulse+ user permissions to limit user access to the necessary data only in order to prevent CCPulse+ from reading large amounts of Configuration Server data upon startup. (ER# 121871260)

CCPulse+ only reads the Tenants monitored by Stat Server on startup. This limitation also applies for all CCPulse+ configuration options. (ER# 104516876)

Though Stat Server and CCPulse+ properly track Object name changes from the Configuration Server, after reconnecting to Stat Server, CCPulse+ re-requests opened statistics using the old name, resulting in an error message. Reopening the workspace solves this problem. (ER# 111086514)

Try to avoid using a template with hundreds of statistics, as CCPulse+ will try to create an equal number of charts within the same view. This may cause CCPulse+ to shut down unexpectedly and generate the message, The memory could not be read. (ER# 43588051)

Some metrics, such as current values, are not available historically. CCPulse+ may show an Error for these metrics instead of the values. In this case, Genesys recommends you revise the template. (ER# 33389471)

The Stat Server notification that indicates a user's status has changed to LoggedOut may include the LoginID for the user, instead of N/A, in the Extended Current Status pane. (ER# 28391674)

CCPulse+ may display empty logical grouping items in the Call Center objects pane or in the Configuration Wizard. (ER# 91639)

In some cases, CCPulse+ may show an incorrect metric description on the Template Wizard's Historical Associations tab. (ER# 83103)

Depending on the RDBMS, CCPulse+ may not be able to build historical reports if you select too many objects. For example, the Oracle RDBMS sets a limit of 1,000 objects. Selecting objects greater than the limit may yield an error similar to the following:

ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000
