Introduction

This release note applies to all 8.1 releases of SIP Feature Server Device Management Plugin for Genesys Administrator Extension.

Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.

New in This Release

This is an update for this product. This release contains the following new feature or functionality:

Starting from this release, SIP Feature Server Device Management GAX plugin now requires OpenJDK 17 to operate. JDK 8 and JDK 11 are no longer supported. (SIPVM-7137)

Important:

This release of the SIP Feature Server Device Management GAX plugin requires SIP Feature Server release 8.1.203.01 or later to support SIP Feature Server features introduced in release 8.1.203.01.

This release of the SIP Feature Server Device Management GAX plugin requires GAX version 9.0.107.XXX or later.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

An updated version of Feature Server GAX Plugin libraries that address security vulnerabilities. (SIPVM-7218)

Bulk Uploading of Devices in DM GAX UI now fetches and displays the appropriate results and the Result Download option is now visible and accessible. (SIPVM-7196)
