Corrections and Modifications
This release of T-Server is built with T-Server Common Part (TSCP) release number 8.1.001.74. TSCP is the shared software that all T-Servers use. Consult the TSCP release note for information on changes to the Common Part that may affect the functionality of your particular type of T-Server.
This version was first released as a Hot Fix on 10/17/16. This release contains no new features or functionality.
This release includes the following corrections or modifications:
T-Server now correctly performs clean-up of internally created calls when handling transfer and conference scenarios involving non-monitored devices. Previously in such scenarios, T-Server did not remove internally created calls. (UKTS-17486)
T-Server now provides a workaround for incorrect PBX reporting when a call, initiated from a monitored device to a local non-monitored device, has been diverted or forwarded to another non-monitored device. Previously, T-Server might have failed later if the PBX incorrectly reported delivery of the call to the destination of the diversion. (UKTS-17487)
T-Server now correctly performs an exit procedure when T-Server is stopped by Ctrl-C/Ctrl-Break. Previously, stopping T-Server using Ctrl-C/Ctrl-Break might have caused Windows to complain of an incorrect termination. (UKTS-17488)

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.1 release of T-Server for Mitel MiVoice 5000.
T-Server is the Genesys software component that provides an interface between your telephony hardware and the rest of the Genesys software components in your enterprise. It translates and keeps track of events and requests that come from, and are sent to, the CTI (computer-telephony integration) link in the telephony device. T-Server is a TCP/IP-based server that can also act as a messaging interface between T-Server clients. It is the critical point in allowing your Genesys solution to facilitate and track the contacts that flow through your enterprise.
Migration Notes:
8.1 T-Server for Mitel MiVoice 5000 can be considered as a replacement for 7.5 T-Server for EADS Telecom M6500: however, a downgrade is not possible. When performing such an upgrade, the following must be considered:
There are no corrections in this initial 8.1 release of T-Server.
This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.
The PBX does not support CTI reporting for scenarios involving callback, intrusion, park, and pickup. Such operations must not be performed on devices that are monitored by T-Server as it may lead to unexpected behavior.
Found In: | Fixed In: |
Some complex scenarios involving a transfer or a conference may result in the PBX blocking the transferring or conferencing device for up to 15 seconds. During this time, the PBX will reject all CTI requests on that device, and all operations on that device must be executed manually using the phoneset. In cases involving a blind conference or a blind transfer, the PBX may additionally send an unexpected error event at the end of the 15 seconds even though the scenario was successfully completed.
Found In: | Fixed In: |
Due to inconsistent PBX reporting, a call that is redirected to an invalid or unknown number may result in a stuck call on the redirecting device.
Found In: | Fixed In: |
If a conference is created where all other conference parties are external and one of the external conference parties hangs up, the PBX wrongly reports that the conference controller has hung up even though he or she is still on the call. In this case, the conference controller can only control the call manually on the phoneset.
Found In: | Fixed In: |
When an analog phone is left off hook for 3 minutes, the switch generates a Connection Cleared event, triggering an OnHook message from T-Server. However, the DN is still off hook and cannot receive calls.

In scenarios where a consultation call is diverted to an external destination, the PBX may not generate a NetworkReached event.
