Introduction

As of February 1, 2012, Genesys is no longer an affiliate of Alcatel-Lucent; any indication of such affiliation within Genesys products or packaging is no longer applicable. Please see the Genesys website at http://www.genesys.com for more details.

This release note applies to all 7.5 releases of Autodialing Gateway Server for SAP.

• Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.
• The Release Number table lists the supported operating systems for each release at a high level. For more detailed information, see the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide.
• The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.
• The Corrections and Modifications section for each release may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.
• The Discontinued Support section is cumulative. It lists functionality that is no longer supported and the release number of the version in which support was discontinued.

Use of Third-Party Software

Genesys solutions may sometimes utilize functionality from commercial or non-commercial third parties, when such solutions are determined to provide quality approaches to items Genesys would otherwise have to raise costs to implement. Contact your Genesys Customer Care representative if you have any questions.

Supported Operating Systems

New in This Release

There are no restrictions for this release. This release contains the following new features or functionality:

• As of 09/03/21, Autodialing Gateway Server supports Windows Server 2019. See the Gplus Adapter for SAP CRM page in the Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide for more detailed information and a list of all supported operating systems. (GPS-3252)
• Autodialing Gateway Server for SAP (AGS) now supports the SAP NetWeaver RFC Library version 7210.627.25.27014. The classic RFC library is no longer supported.
• Three options were added in the [rfc-server] section to provide native logging support of the SAP NetWeaver RFC Library:

trace
Default Value: Off
Valid Values: (case insensitive) Off, Brief, Verbose, or Full

• Off: By specifying this, only severe errors are logged to the dev_rfc.trc file.
• Brief: By specifying this, all API calls and important attributes, like codepages, RFC headers, and login parameters, are traced.
• Verbose: By specifying this, in addition to the values captured by Brief, the values of the scalar RFC parameters as well as the contents of the network containers are traced.
• Full: By specifying this, in addition to the values captured by Verbose, the contents of nested structures and tables as well as all API calls of setter and getter functions are traced..
Mandatory: No
Changes Take Effect: Immediately


Use this option to set the logging trace level of the NetWeaver RFC library.

trace-dir
Default Value: '.' (that is, the current working directory)
Valid Values: a string that is an absolute or relative path name
Mandatory: No
Changes Take Effect: Immediately


Important: The directory must exist before setting this option. The NetWeaver RFC library will not create non-existing directories.

Use this option to set the logging trace directory for the NetWeaver RFC library, where the NetWeaver RFC library writes trace files.

trace-type
Default Value: THREAD
Valid Values: (case insensitive)

• PROCESS: Specifying this value results in one log file per process
• THREAD: Specifying this value results in one log file per thread
Mandatory: No
Changes Take Effect: Immediately


Use this option to specify the way that the NetWeaver RFC library writes trace files. You configure this at the NetWeaver RFC library level.

Note: The Adapter is compatible with version 7.5.100.01 of Campaign Synchronization Server.

Supported Operating Systems

New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release does not contain new features or functionality.

• Support for 64-bit on Windows Server 2012 (x64) was added on 02/01/16.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

The Adapter now correctly synchronizes the Genesys call results to SAP. (GPS-2890)

The Adapter is now compatible with version 7.5.000.21 of Campaign Synchronization Server.

Supported Operating Systems

• Calling List creation and update.

• Call List updates triggered by an inbound call.

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

Changing connections in CME is not supported when the application is running. (ER#  101409522)

The High Availability configuration of DB Server is not supported. (ER#  96612377)

When processing requests from SAP, it is not recommended that you:

• Switch the Autodialing Gateway Server from primary mode over to backup mode. (ER#  113843971)
• Exit or stop the Autodialing Gateway Server. (ER#  113843980)
