A new configuration option, ignore-bck-priority, controls this feature.

ignore-bck-priority
Default Value: false
Valid Values: true, false

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

To increase snapshot performance, T-Server now sends to the switch a single snapshot device request for each device. The response message contains details of all calls on the device. Previously, T-Server sent a request to the switch for each call on a device. Distribution devices handling multiple calls now require only one snapshot request as opposed to a request for each call on the device.

(UKTS-17098, UKTS-17104)

T-Server no longer quits unexpectedly when a T-Server client (T-Library API client) attaches user data, then deletes user data and immediately disconnects from the T-Server. Previously, a memory access violation intermittently occurred.

After a primary T-Server failure, Solution Control Server can now promote a backup warm standby T-Server to a primary. To do so, set a new configuration option, enable-warm-connect, to true.

enable-warm-connect

(UKTS-17066)

When T-Server issues a snapshot request to verify a dormant call's state, T-Server no longer incorrectly generates an EventEstablished when the snapshot response indicates that the call is in a dialing state. (UKTS-17075)

T-Server no longer becomes unstable after a call distribution to an agent is bounced back to the same distribution device. (UKTS-17058, UKTS-17068)

T-Server no longer reports an incorrect ThirdPartyDN in EventDiverted when a substitute agent is selected as the routing target. (UKTS-17061)

T-Server no longer terminates when a call bounces to a different destination multiple times. (UKTS-16837)

T-Server no longer terminates when a TRouteCall request of the RouteType property of the RouteTypeCallDisconnect parameter is issued for an inbound call. (UKTS-16728)

T-Server now correctly processes duplicated TreatmentStarted and TreatmentStopped events received from CSTA Connector. Previously, while processing duplicated messages, T-Server reported incorrect T-Library events.

Note: Genesys recommends using CSTA Connector version 8.1.102.01 (or later), starting with which CSTA Connector ignores duplicated messages received from the BroadWorks XSP server. (UKTS-16946)

Supported Operating Systems

The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.

New in This Release

This release of T-Server is built with the T-Server Common Part (TSCP) release number 8.1.001.68. TSCP is the shared software that all T-Servers use. Consult the TSCP release note for information on changes to the Common Part that may affect the functionality of your particular type of T-Server.

There are no restrictions for this release. This release does not contain any new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

T-Server now correctly handles sending Routing Point confirmation events when receiving enable and disable routing requests to ensure the correct synchronization between primary and backup T-Servers when they are configured to work through dedicated CSTA Connectors. Previously, the treatments would fail after the switchover of T-Servers. (UKTS-16708)

T-Server now correctly reports substituted Agent Login events in the following scenario:

  1. A user has an existing hoteling association.
  2. Monitoring of the AgentID is enabled at run time because the value of the monitor configuration option is specified as true in the Annex tab of the user's AgentID.

Previously, T-Server would not report an EventAgentLogin event in such a scenario.

Note: The User ID in the User Profile in the switch configuration must contain the fully qualified domain name (for example, user@domain.com), so that T-Server can correctly report this scenario. (UKTS-16693)

T-Server now provides correct reporting when a snapshot response indicates that the state of the call is in the dialing state. Previously, if a call was left in the dialing state without any activity for over 50 seconds, T-Server issued a snapshot request to verify the call's state and would incorrectly generate an EventEstablished event after receiving the response for the snapshot request. (UKTS-16681)

T-Server now correctly reports the transfer of a call to a Routing Point while a treatment is in progress. Previously, T-Server incorrectly reported an EventTreatmentEnd event after the completion of a transfer. (UKTS-16625)

T-Server now correctly handles Routing Points that have multiple clients registered in the configuration environment. Previously, T-Server might terminate unexpectedly if a DN was deleted in the configuration environment. Deleting a DN no longer results in incorrect client unregistration requests to the switch. (UKTS-16622)

Supported Operating Systems

The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.

New in This Release

This release of T-Server is built with the T-Server Common Part (TSCP) release number 8.1.001.60. TSCP is the shared software that all T-Servers use. Consult the TSCP release note for information on changes to the Common Part that may affect the functionality of your particular type of T-Server.

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.1 release of CSTA Connector for BroadSoft BroadWorks.

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

T-Server now correctly reports Supervisor Monitoring when it is manually requested by a supervisor. Previously, if a supervisor initiated Supervisor Monitoring from a hard phone, their call leg was not cleared when the Supervisor Monitoring was completed. (ER# 317324045)

T-Server now correctly reports EventAgentNotReady After Call Work (ACW) events when they are manually initiated by an agent using a phone set. Previously, T-Server only supported such events when initiated through T-Server itself. (ER# 316138013)

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

To ensure backward compatibility, T-Server provides two options that define how many licenses T-Server can check out:

When the values of the two options are different, then T-Server applies the lower one, so Genesys recommends that you leave the option num-sdn-licenses at the default value max and set the option num-of-licenses to the actual number of licenses that you want T-Server to check out. Alternatively, you can set both options to the same value.

BroadWorks allows the configuration of Call Centers (ACDQ) with multiple DNIS numbers. Any of the DNIS numbers provisioned in BroadWorks as well as the primary ACDQ number can be monitored by Genesys. ACDQ with multiple DNIS numbers is handled by BroadWorks as a single monitored object, which means that registering to both the primary ACDQ number and DNIS numbers does not work, as subsequent registration overrides previous registrations with no notification from BroadWorks. Genesys strongly advises that you monitor only the primary ACDQ number. If it is necessary to configure DNIS numbers in Genesys Configuration Database, such devices are created with the Register flag set to False.

Call pickup and call intrusion are not supported in environments where the DNs are configured as URIs. (UKTS-17541)

Found In: Fixed In:

T-Server for CSTA Connector does not support scenarios where a Substituted Agent logs out while T-Server serves the call and then logs in on a different device. Genesys recommends releasing the call before performing the logout for a Substituted Agent. (UKTS-17026)

Found In: Fixed In:

When digit collection begins before a T-Server switchover, the newly appointed primary T-Server cannot provide collected digits. Genesys recommends restarting digit collection after the T-Server switchover. (UKTS-16978)

Found In: 8.1.102.01 Fixed In:

When you are using this T-Server with the CSTA Connector for Broadsoft Broadworks, Genesys recommends configuring DN numbers using one of the following formats: Broadsoft extension numbers or SIP tel: numbers. Do not configure DNs as SIP URIs, which can cause unpredictable results in event reporting.

Found In: Fixed In:

In a scenario where a call is mute-transferred to an ACD Queue, delivered to an available agent, and then immediately rejected (for example, if the agent is in Do Not Disturb (DND) mode), then T-Server might distribute an EventAbandoned event instead of an EventReleased event on the agent device. This scenario might happen if the switch reports that the call has been rejected on the agent device before it has completed reporting the mute transfer operation. (UKTS-16705)

Found In: 8.1.101.03 Fixed In:

Genesys recommends that an agent does not set a Call Disposition Code, and then immediately set a different Call Disposition Code. Doing this might cause issues with the reporting of the data attached to the call. (UKTS-16699)
