Internationalization

Information in this section is included for international customers.

There is a problem with the standard Siebel predefined queries for the eMail Response business object, which are using the wrong LIC (Language Independent Code) in Siebel servers without an American English (ENU) language pack (SR 38-3422706995).

The workaround is to update the standard predefined queries for the eMail Response business object to use LookupValue ("ACTIVITY_DISPLAY_CODE","Communication and Activity"). Please see Siebel SR 38-3422706995 for details.

Workaround:

  1. Log in as Siebel Administrator.
  2. Navigate to SiteMap > Administration Application > Predefined Queries.
  3. Search for Object=eMail Response.
  4. For all found records with the Query field value, replace the text Communication and Activities with Communication and Activity.
  5. Restart the Siebel server for the changes to become effective.
